  3. Fleet Roster update Mr Fenton from Greater Portland Metro emailed me About there Xcelsior order And they are getting 6 XD40 and 5 XN40 for 2018 heres the email that mr Fenton from Greater Portland metro sent to me

This is from Greater Portland Metro Board minutes under the General managers report And it states that Greater Portland Metro in Portland Maine is getting a order of New Flyer Xcelsior buses for a 2018 delivery it didn't say how many buses that they are getting they will be getting 40' buses They had a bid between Gillig LLC and New Flyer Industries and it turns out that New Flyer industries won the bid to build buses for Greater Portland Metro This will mark Portland Maine the first agency in the state of Maine to receive an order of Xcelsior buses It's unsure if the new Xcelsiors are going to be Diesel or Hybrid Electric or CNG for there order of Xcelsiors there will be more information on the Xcelsiors when it comes available Note these will be replacing there 1998 Gillig Phantom 40' http://gpmetrobus.net/images/Board_Meetings/Metro Board Meeting Packet_05-24-2017.pdf

I heard from a friend of mine from Portland and he said that the greater Portland metro is getting 6 2018 Gillig Advantage 40' Diesel buses they are being piggy backed on Cache Valley Transit District options and greater Portland will get there buses for a 2018 delivery for all 6 those will replace the remaining 6 active phantoms they have can someone edit this to the roster

Portland METRO got the funding and the board approved the purchase of 6 40 foot Gillig Advantages there going to be diesel to replace the 5 ex-DART Delaware Gillig 40' Phantoms and 1 1997 ex-Long Beach NY Gillig 30' Phantom. They'll piggyback off an order from Cache Valley Transit in Utah http://gpmetrobus.net/images/stories/Metro Board Packet_05-25-2016.pdf this is the link that has the Ordering If anyone can update this information to the roster I would appreciate it
