A couple of details to make MARTA rail history more complete: Blue line originally ran Mon-Fri only. Weekend service was added September 1979 Green line originally Bankhead to Vine City only. Rush extended to Edgewood 12/31/92, then most (except late eve) extended to King Memorial 06/25/94, but rush cut back Edgewood to King Memorial same date. Rush re-extended to Edgewood 03/06/00
