  1. Ya i seen that on the wiki cuz i wanted to see what year it was. I think that the trial will go good and i bet well end up buying the demo(my prediction). Im gonna go look for it after im done work to see if i can get pictures of it. I wanna ride it later too.
  2. Right as we speak. Its already here, it said so in the article with pics and a vid of it in TWs garage.
  3. Transit windsor is testing a nova lfs artic for a month for feasibility and maybe purchasing. Heres a few screenshots from the windsor star.
  4. Not transit windsor related but windsor area related. A few screenshots of the article in the windsor star. http://www.iheartradio.ca/am800/news/transit-link-from-leamington-to-windsor-in-the-works-1.8697956
  5. It does not stop at 531. His post is 4 posts above yours and is even quoted right above your post. I would do a little more research next time.
  6. http://www.iheartradio.ca/am800/news/lasalle-mayor-says-transit-and-land-acquisitions-are-two-big-highlights-for-2018-1.8635987 I believe the ridership stat is most likely per month and not per day. If that was per day, that would be on par with the bigger routes in windsor(aside from the 1C and the 2 which are bigger)

I did. Every word of it.

Give it time. He may have info that the rest of us don't.
  9. I would also like to add to the express idea about maybe expanding on more runs at different times and gauging what the best times are to make the runs. maybe have it a set frequency like every 20 mins as an example, and i agree about having it both directions. Should also name and number the route so more people will be aware of it, creating more ridership for it.
  10. New flyer may have had the lowest bid, but that doesnt always mean they get the contract lol(i know you know that so no offence chris LOL😄). Most likely yes but have they even decided who theyre gonna go for yet? All we know so far is NFI got the lowest bid. Anything concrete on a decision?
  11. I think they should update the schedules first on the south windsor routes, maybe even add more headways to the routes on top of what they added for the 5. And once they know how they wanna schedule the routes with the furthur increases, then look at how many more buses theyll need and go from there. I agree on the artics though, i have for years. One of the options for the new west end terminal showed artic bus bays if they would chose that option, which i hope they do.
  12. Well. Has anyone ever seen a 1C going down lauzon parkway between hawthorne and tecumseh mall, WITH passengers on it? I was so confused when it went by me.
  13. Ya theyre still in service, see them every day.
  14. I thought i read 8 total somewhere but i may be wrong.
  15. http://www.iheartradio.ca/am800/news/lasalle-resident-says-transit-a-plus-but-more-routes-needed-1.7626054 Resident calls for more routes in lasalle
  16. Too costly?? Systems swap engines regularly if engines blow if i recall correctly.
  17. Ok, more specifically I mean it is not listed under the ontario transit agency list. Can it be added? Maybe in the same fashion as Norfolk County, can have a Simcoe County and then under it we can put LINX etc.
  18. Just a quick question. I browsed around but couldnt find it so i dont think it exists yet? Has anyone made a simcoe county transit on the wiki yet? Maybe i just havent seen it?
  19. I know the D60LFs should be retired soon but im not sure when

  21. Articulated buses are a market im surprised Gillig never ventured into considering the wide market that they supply for in the 30ft-40ft bus categories.
  22. Ya the extra runs it shows only goes southbound and thats it. The express runs are only northbound and afternoon too. Probably only a few buses doing these runs
  23. Well I just noticed on TWs website that they added more trips southbound on the Dominion 5, and also made those added trips northbound as EXPRESS back to WITT using the highway system to sandwich st and onto university ave. https://www.citywindsor.ca/residents/transitwindsor/Routes-and-Schedules/Documents/Dominion 5 FINAL.pdf https://www.citywindsor.ca/residents/transitwindsor/Routes-and-Schedules/Documents/St Clair Express Bus Northbound.pdf
  24. Great observation! I didnt even see that! I wasnt looking for it at the time either though haha
  25. I just noticed that TW put some info about the proposed new terminal at the hospital site on the west end, the tayfour campus, on their website. https://www.citywindsor.ca/residents/building-Windsors-Future/Pages/West-Windsor-Transit-Terminal-Relocation.aspx If this goes through, I think the terminal should be an island terminal with the island itself going north/south, it would be most beneficial for the buses in regards to turning etc. I also think if this terminal gets approved and built, it should be called the Tayfour Terminal. Even though I feel personally that the terminal should be on or close to sandwich street, but thats me. Bernie, have you heard or seen anything about the final 2 buses of the 26 buses yet? If they've shown up etc.
