  1. Calgary Transit

Specifically, from North Bound McLeod onto Westbound 162nd - there is a queue jump, and also on Eastbound 162nd, through the first set of lights. EDIT: Also appears to be one on westbound Sun Valley Blvd at Sunpark Gate. They aren't labelled, but you can figure out what they are intended to be on this document: http://www.calgary.ca/Transportation/TI/Documents/Road-projects/macleod-162ave/macleod-162ave-DDI-zoomed-in-Mar-2016.pdf
  2. Calgary Transit - North Crosstown BRT

A whole bunch of stations up in the NE are under construction.
  3. Ctrain The near Future Series 9 Cars

Frankly, I think the black looks awful. Hopefully the look isn't complete yet.
  4. General CTrain Discussion

Many years ago, I remember seeing 5 car U2 consists a couple of times (obviously not in service).
  5. On-It (Calgary Regional Partnership transit)

Small market yes, but I shouldn't take 2 hours from Nanton to SomersetBridlewood. it's only 67 km. Google maps says 44 minutes to drive. I realize stops along the way would add to the duration, but that shouldn't make it two hours.

Does anyone know why the 5 month delay from the original schedule? Or what is Siemens' penalty for the delay?
  7. Real Time Destination Signs

I've been on a train short turned at whitehorn before, but those times are to get trains back on schedule after a delay. Not sure if there was any delays for the day in question.
  8. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

Saw an 85 Bus that still said "85 Saddleridge" this morning.
  9. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

The LRT line map on CT's website has finally been changed to include the two new stations.
  10. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

    MKWW opened December 2007.
  11. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

When MKWW opened, the bus stop signs were all changed overnight the night before. I expect that's what will happen overnight tonight. Also, there's still some pylons on 60th Street southbound still blocking off the CT only lane to go straight into the bus bays. Also noticed this afternoon a small "Saddle Ridge Park and Ride" sign with a left arrow on Saddletowne Circle. Whoops.
  12. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

The traffic lights at 80th Ave and at 60th Street are both now operating normally. The temporary fencing has all been taken down and is being loaded up today. Anyone can now walk right onto all three platforms.
  13. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

If anything is going to be done there, it will likely take a couple of weeks/months.
  14. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

Ticket vending machines are in place at Saddletowne too. Also, crews have been widening the driveway flare at the south end of the bus bays this week - pouring some concrete this afternoon. Nothing like a last minute change.
  15. NE LRT Extension to Martindale and Saddletowne

The traffic lights at 80th ave and at 60th Street have been uncovered and are now on flash. Ticket dispensers have been installed, at least at Martindale.
