Driving back from San Diego on Sunday, I saw a few retired NABI 40-LFW LNG at Transit Sales International in Murrieta. I wish NABI had more customers for these, other than Big Blue Bus & OCTA.

https://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/14925821344/ The Omnitrans page on the CPTDB Wiki needs some updating. #1290 is a new bus on the XN40 group. Not sure if there are more new ones, that the only one I have seen so far.

Its good to see the CNG NABI 40-LFW not go to waste. http://blog.pe.com/business/2014/03/26/food-mobile-fresh-rolling-out-discounted-groceries0/ I saw a live report on this on ABC 7, but its not on their website. -
It says on the website that the BRT might be ready to start operating in late March or early April. Some platform stations already have the machines and LED signs installed.

The SBX line that will connect San Bernardino & Loma Linda will have bus only lanes in some sections that will be used for faster travel. Looks kinda like a freeway HOV/Carpool Lane. As of January 2014, most of the stations have been completed. The only things remaining are fixing broken pavement & installing the sensors to the traffic signals. The downtown transitcenter is also being constructed. Omnitrans will also be testing the articulated buses on the completed bus lanes and stations.

Why do people take photos of the computer screen? I have seen a few my flickr photos also been screen photographed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Enoc9t0UBAI http://www.flickr.com/photos/90962858@N03/8262155385/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/95670482@N05/ That's not the work of the famous ea90744. Now I know how SoCal people feel about Albertos Mexican Food & its clones like Alanbertos & Adanbertos, Rigobertos, etc.

http://www.foothilltransit.org/green/They have a photo on their website now. http://www.foothilltransit.org/green/ The blue stripes are gone now, but at least they kept the logo.

It looks like OCTA & Gardena Bus Lines will be the only transit agencies with stripes in the greater Los Angeles area. I think SCRTD started that stripe trend back in the 80s. I hope Foothill Transit doesnt change their logo like Omnitrans did. I really liked that OMNI logo with the sun & mountains in the horizon that was in the O. Omnitrans should of kept it or repainted it. That Foothill Transit logo & stripes looks good in all their buses, although I dont think the Gillig Phantoms got that updated version that the Gillig Low Floors introduced where the Foothill Transit logo is in the middle.

New livery. Gone are the days of stripes on buses.

Its been 10 years since Leon, Guanajuato started its Optibus BRT service. New articulated buses will enter service & will have new colors. http://www.leon.gob.mx/leon/?q=node/113 They were testing a DINA Brighter articulated bus, but it looks like they went with a different manufacturer.

Last month I went on a 2 week road trip to Guanajuato, its too bad my first set of photos got deleted because my Micro SD was acting up, so many cool buses, oh well. I gotta be happy with what I got. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9541922912/in/photostream/ Transportation and Construction Work on site. A bus crane in Chihuahua. . Only in Mexico. I even saw a bus being used as a food truck & another one as an office. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9552571224/in/photostream/ The new Irizar I5 motorcoach buses recently replaced older buses used for the Metropolitano commuter bus services. Leon is also testing a DINA articulated bus for its BRT service. I only got a small glimpse of it once, but wasnt able to photograph it or record it. Since they are only testing one unit, it is very rare to find. I tried for searching for it near the Mercado Aldama, but no luck. It started being tested a few months ago. http://leon.milenio.com/cdb/doc/noticias2011/441f143ff8b275f4ff9127f096fb7d47 Also more transit buses in Leon are being equipped with LED headsigns. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9553517308/in/photostream/ This transit bus serves the state border adjacent cities of Gomez Palacio in Durango & Torreon in Coahuila. In the city of Chihuahua they constructing a Bus Rapid Transit system similar to the ones currently in other Mexican cities. I have no pictures or info on this. I made it to Chihuahua at night. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9553442612/in/photostream/ TransCalido #236 in Aguascalientes during early morning traffic. http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9550707719/in/photostream/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/jfs1988/9553495372/in/photostream/ Transportation for personnel of a workers union or something in the town of Cuencame, Durango.
