Very interesting that they numbered them like this. Are they 2017 or 2018 build?? Also I did hear that Arboc 177 was out in service which I wonder if they are numbered 173-179, 181. Also would you know if 033, 061 and 064 are retired as well?

to be honest i didn't ask. not really a cut-a-truck fan. lots of arboc's at the garage though

No. It is a temporary interline  due to construction

none of what you just said makes sense.  the 37 isn't interlined with anything else nor is the 501

those buses are at queensway due to a fleet shortage currently as there are only 3 spares. Depending on need for the next board period they will either stay at Queensway or return to eglinton. Time will tell but it has nothing to do with construction of anything.

Isn't every division is under the same union? If the union have to bitch at mechanics at other divisions stealing each other's job when a certain division have a backlog, then this is really screwed up. The public is interested in having the vehicles serviced and return to serve the public ASAP. No one is getting layoff at the end and the public shouldn't be paying for workers that have nothing to do. The union would just want to make sure every worker have access to overtime.

Yes they are. Leylandvictory2 is giving you false information. A queensway op or an arrow op for example could take their bus out to eglinton birchmount or malvern (or any other division) and do overtime there provided the work is open. it doesn't have to be "scheduled"

I actually rode 8403 around that time. I agree it's pretty pointless too now. It's all the same pattern.

Last weekend there were subway shuttles so Novas are out since the morning. Otherwise, a couple may show up later in the day. It's been like this for the past 2 months.

you agree yet you still can't resist commenting on it. drop it, they are a normally dispatched bus in the QSY fleet.

Regarding Queensway novas: No subway shuttle and none are out today as of noon. A few did made it out yesterday.

I still notice the dispatch patterns are different than previous weekends.

Also one thing about the artic dispatches. Wilson has them on the 7 on weekends regardless if there's a subway closer or not. It's been quite consistent that Wilson sends out ~25 artics on a Sunday even through none are scheduled. Wilson however never sends put the 10 scheduled artics on the 320. I wonder what's the point in having artics scheduled for the 85 on Saturday and 320 on Sunday morning if they aren't going to send them out ever. The 85 is suppose to get a crowding relief on Saturday when they improved crowding standings throughout the system last year. Instead this route received nothing as artics were scheduled to replaced 40ft's instead of more buses.

there are still streetcar shuttles running out of Queensway.

whop de doo about your dispatch patterns, they change with the 79's and 80's as well and we don't comment about that. but we can give you a gold star for noticing from your couch and phone at home
