  1. 1291 was in Prince George on Friday night set up to head for Dawson Creek.
  2. She was still there when I went through Langley this morning. There's a Truck parked in front of her.
  3. 1125 was one of the last Canadian coaches to come off the line with the model 102-DL3 on the builders plate. The D4500 model starts at either 1137 or 1138. I'll confirm the next time I see one of those two coaches.
  4. 3431 has been in BC for quite some time. If it's still showing as Toronto based then I'll have to do some editing. She's been running the Horseshoe Bay shuttle for a few weeks but last week she was sent back to her home on Vancouver Island. I'm also told that a new Greyhound Express run has started on Vancouver Island and that two refurbished DL's have been sent over to run those express trips between Nanaimo and Victoria.
  5. None of the Canadian G's have been refurbed. If you saw a blue G, then it was a US G running a Canadian trip. It does happen but rarely. It usually happens when we have a wheelchair booking with no Canadian accessible coach available.
  6. Funny that she's listed for sale in Minnesota when she's parked at Elite Bailiffs in Langley BC
  7. Just found these photos of 0883 in Shrewsbury MA after blowing an injector. Not good.
  8. Caught a crappy shot of 859 out in Vegreville on August 11. I'm guessing no one is sorry to see her retired?
  9. Here's 800 at the Jasper Station early in the morning on August 11, 2014
  10. Look what I found in Jasper on Monday morning. Here is 5404 at the Jasper Station early in the morning on August 11, 2014
  11. Sorry guys. I ran into a bit of a technical difficulty trying to upload my photos of 3011. Hopefully it works this time.
  12. Here is 6138 at the Jasper Station on schedule 5020 on Monday August 11, 2014
  13. So the decision has been made and 1203 is officially retired. Some G's are terrible to drive but this one was a great charter coach.
  14. That is indeed 3419. Normally she would be somewhere on Vancouver Island. However her and the other 3400's that are in BC occasionally come across to Vancouver for maintenance. After the work has been done they often find themselves on the Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay Shuttle until an arrangement can be made to get them back onto the Island. In all likelihood, that's what she was doing when you saw her.
  15. Here are my photos of the lastest incarnation of PCL 3011 captured yesterday at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver.
  16. I have a couple of photos of 3011 which I will upload when I get home tonight. It was parked in bay 1 at Pacific Central Station this afternoon.
  17. Interesting! Knowing what I know of the ownership of Quick and CBL i would not be surprised in the least to see a bit of a rebranding of Horizon Coachlines or even it being absorbed eventually. My gut would lean more towards a rebranding somehow. I couldn't guess how though.
  18. This is certainly not good http://m.news1130.com/2014/07/04/head-on-crash-involving-a-transit-bus-closes-massey-tunnel/
  19. I passed Nova LFS 9232 eastbound on Highway 1 through Langley this morning. She still had her decals for Kelowna. She was, however; running on a transport permit. Anyone know weather she was heading back to Kelowna or being transfered to another system?
  20. Had a brain fart and left it at home. Maybe it will make a return visit sometime when I haven't lost my marbles.
  21. I saw my first five digit unit number on a Canadian Hound yesterday. 60558 was in the service line at the Vancouver garage. The one day I show up with out my camera. DOH!!!!!!
  22. That one G is actually quite nice to drive. Interesting that they put the new sign on it. It didn't have a sign at all when I drove it last month.
  23. These coaches and all manual transmission Greyhound coaches have been retired as of January 2013
  24. So I'm driving Greyhound Canada's Vancouver to Horseshoe Bay Shuttle this morning. As I arrive at Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal, the BC Ferry Queen of Capilano is arriving from Bowen Island. I saw something on the vehicle deck that caught my attention. So after unloading my passengers, I positioned myself to snap a photo of a vehicle coming off this ferry. Low and behold an ex-Community Transit D30LF drives off this ferry. It drove by slow enough for me to snap a photo which I will upload when I get off work this evening. But it also drove by me slow enough for me to discover that this was ex-Community Transit 7617 now wearing BC license plates.
  25. Canada West bought themselves a new J 4500. Or at least it is new to them. Just spotted 746 eastbound through Chilliwack on highway one
