  2. Could this page be deleted? Seems like we have a duplicate. Thanks in advance http://cptdb.ca/wiki...mpany_S410-S435

    Buses for sale

Cities Area Transit, City of Grand Forks. It says in one of the pictures of the exterior...
  5. I put in the original wiki entry, sorry my bad. Do you know if its ISM or ISL? Doc below doesn't specifically state. ST Board Motion for contract with MCI
  6. Phase 1 results: Phase I Testing the Power of Tomorrow I'm pretty sure Nova's bid for the 07 buses was higher than NFI's but won due to the DPFs...if only Translink didn't change their site and corrupt their links...again
  7. the results would factor into future bus procurement (says on the page from your link) and judging by CMBC's '07 purchase of LFS' diesels buses with diesel particulate filters testing of the LFS units was a success
  8. Could the following pages please be renamed given additional information has confirmed the fleet numbers: 1) http://www.cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=S...ansit_9525-9534 Change to 9525-9536 2) http://www.cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=S...ansit_9535-9552 Change to 9537-9552 Could you also please delete this duplicate page that I accidently made: http://www.cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php?title=C...ott_Road_Stn%27 Thank you in advance
  9. Cost was the deciding factor based on their cost analysis (avoiding 2.5M to 3.5M in capital costs). Also their analysis noted service after the introduction of the Canada Line would be reduced to 15 mins which is not appropriate for trolleybus service; I'm not sure how that is justified though...but the 5-6 trolleys were reallocated to higher capacity routes. And don't forget they're cash strapped... Cambie Service Plan (Bottom of Pg 6)
  10. This would probably serve as confirmation of how many 3rd gens we're getting in case anyone was still wondering (Scroll down near the end): http://buzzer.translink.ca/index.php/2009/...vice-and-fares/ Also explains the "stylish" exhaust system... Anyone know if the "extra" ones beyond the already mentioned 31 "mystery buses" were from the 110 options translink had with the HEV contract? I thought we were going to exercise for 72 HEVs and then somebody else said 110...
  11. well NVTC is to the max as it is, might just make sense to close it but you've got a point, if the facility is ready by 2012 it fits right into the CMBC 17 year bus lifecycle well the specs provided in the link seem to be all for 40 foot buses and since STC is getting upgrades to handle 60 footers for the highway route and 399 in 2012 there doesn't seem to be a point. I'm not sure if STC really needs any "relieving" as the yard still has space, its just the lack of buses... Seems though that Second Narrows isn't as big an issue as Queensborough Bridge/Highway 91A http://www2.canada.com/newwestrecord/story...d0a050d&p=1 EDIT: Here's CMBC's 2010 capital plan - no money, no service expansion, no HTC yet (pg 3) but hopefully soon! http://www.translink.ca/~/media/Documents/...al_Program.ashx
  12. Wiki has been updated...hope you all got to ride them before they were placed in storage/retired!
  13. 1) Laurier station on the transitway? 2) give or take daly street on the northwest corner of Ottawa u?
