  1. Sorry for bad pic but it was 2140 I saw yesterday (and today lol)
  2. I didn't know St catharines had this on order but I spotted at the garage a brand new Regional artic (with the new window) didn't catch the number and don't know how many are there. Only saw one.

    Welland Transit

I saw a Welland Xcelsior arriving at Metro Truck Niagara in st Catharines. Couldn't see the number but it's either 1154 or 1155.
  4. 2112 in service on 314
  5. In downtown rn. 2104 and 2106 are also in service. 2104 on 308. 2106 on 306
  6. Bad pic but 2102 just chilling there. Unironically excited about the rear destination sign.
  7. It looks like st Catharines started installing what I'm assuming are smart card readers. I wonder what solution they went with.
  8. Managed to catch 2119 and man they changed the seats to these uncomfortable garbage. Rip
  9. Some more novas have entered service according to the bus tracker.
  10. Isn't walking down the GO platform an option or is there no connection to the TTC terminal and GO platform? I know that's not the best but it's an option until the new tunnel opens
  11. From what I remember, the screens say the route, next few stops with the next stop at the top, weather and news (which rn i think is the just a covid mask notice and nrt on demand). It's really nice (and imo nicer than what the signs in Toronto say)
  12. Spotted that 2043 was active on the bus tracker.
  13. So I got to ride 2040 today and there's a infotainment sign for route stop, weather, news etc.
  14. 2042 is also in service today. Saw it pass by me at the terminal.
  15. Sorry for the bad pics but I saw 2040 leaving and returning to the garage today. The Not In Service font on the signs are different which is a bit interesting.
  16. So I was browsing the STC's website when I found these two pictures where they have booth made out of the front of a D40LF. Thought it was interesting and worth sharing. Although I am curious which D40LF this front end came from. . they're from this page: https://yourbus.com/transit-in-the-community/
  17. RED and BLUE lines are operated by Niagara Falls Transit while GREEN line is operated by Niagara Parks Commission so it's probably their different procedures.
  18. I don't know how uncommon this sight is but today I saw WEGO 5304 on route 104. It was an extra with the sign saying "EXTRA EXTRA". The bus I was on was also the 104 and when both buses arrived at the NF Bus Terminal, 5304 went out of service.
  19. Small detail I've noticed on the 204x's are that they have rear destination signs again unlike 1740. I wonder if they're gonna add one to 1740 so all of st. catharines regional's will have the rear sign.
  20. Ah, I noticed that 98 had a driver barrier installed, thought it was weird that was the only bus I rode that day with one installed.
  21. Hmmmm. All 3 cities seem to be buying a lot of regional buses. Unless some of these are replacements (Except for maaaaaybe welland's '07 D40LFs, I personally doubt that) they must be planning a decent service improvement in the fall. At least if covid doesn't ruin those plans.
  22. Interesting side effect of the reduced schedule: There are artics on routes that normally wouldn't have them. Don't know all routes with em but the ones I've seen are 409, 418, 415 and maaaaybe the 417.
  23. I think what they're gonna do is keep it as it is since the RED and BLUE lines are already integrated with NFT and the routes were already given the 6xx numbers to fit with the rest of the region. Maybe the GREEN and ORANGE lines will be integrated as well? That'd be nice.
  24. So some small updates on the 438: There is now a detestation sign programmed for the route instead of just saying "SPECIAL" Also the route is now on the website and the transit app so it's less hidden.
