  1. The woman driving the 40 going the other direction said that she drove that bus the day before and it seemed just fine.
  2. Bus 819 broke down on Berini Drive today. I'll post pics later when I get a chance.
  3. I'm not entirely sure what happened but I think bus 1007 was towed away from the University Terminal this afternoon. It was sitting at the Terminal with the sign set to Garage when a giant tow truck came. It parked on the other side of the terminal then bus 1007 was driven to behind the tow truck. I think they were hooking the bus up to the tow truck when my bus came so I left.
  4. I should mention that I was wrong about when the ad-wrap was added to 1005. It clearly had the wrap before it's accident as you can see from this picture: I'm just curious but where do you find out all this information on Saskatoon Transit GMC T6H-5307N?
  5. Bus 1202 was running on route 4 today for some reason.
  6. I spotted bus 1005 yesterday for the first time since it returned from it's accident. There is now an ad wrap on just the driver side of the bus but I can't remember what the ad is... I guess the advertisement didn't work on me. Lol.
  7. After checking out the pdf file for route 13 (https://transit.saskatoon.ca/sites/default/files/documents/2016/route_13.pdf), It appears that that route doesn't really operate when the U of S isn't in "full session". Perhaps that is why they use high floor buses for that route. Then they can save the low floor buses for routes that operate year-round. I'm just speculating though.
  8. Any news on bus 1005 GMC T6H-5307N? I'm curious to know what happened to her since her accident in November. I haven't seen her around but I haven't taken the bus lately either.
  9. If you do a VIN lookup on SGI's website you can see the damage amount of 1005's accident. Apparently it is over $13,000!
  10. I ride the bus almost every day to the University Terminal (some days I ride the bus there multiple times). I don't get a chance to ride on the ex-Calgary units very often because the routes I ride on are pretty much low-floor buses only now. I do see those ex-Calgary buses quite often though at the University Terminal on other routes. And every once in a while I'll end up riding an express route to the university, which, the majority of the time, seems to use the ex-Calgary buses.
  11. Thanks for the warm welcome GMC T6H-5307N! Here are some of the pictures I took (I was on the bus when it crashed): http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/saskatoon/saskatoon-transit-collision-november-3-1.3836036 I assume that the passenger who was taken to the hospital was the one who hurt his leg a little... there was basically no injuries in the accident.
  12. Hi, I'm new here. I just created my account. On November 3rd, 2016 at about 5:29pm, Saskatoon Transit bus 1005 was involved in a 4 vehicle collision while on Route 40, City Centre. The accident left 1005's windshield smashed, bumper damaged, and perhaps other damages to the front of the bus. I have not seen 1005 in service since the accident. I have photos of the bus right after accident occurred but I haven't posted them because I want to make sure that I remain the owner of the photos after uploading them to this website.
