  1. badge numbers don't really mean anything, people with badges higher than yours will pick the work before you often because their documentation was after yours however their medical was before yours hence they are senior to you

  5. Congrats! Just finished Day 7 training at Arrow Rd, all the instructors have been great so far and very helpful, just gotta do your homework and ask all the questions you have. See you around the division soon (hopefully, fingers crossed lol) i'll be on the day 20 when you start training so maybe see you at Hillcrest. Goodluck!
  6. 9-10 difficulty out of 10 for tests up to day 13 is a bit excessive no? with that scale im assuming day 16 and 25 actual driving tests will be 20 out of 10 difficulty lol There are tests where you drive in revenue with actual passengers? Which day is that?
  7. references get called by a 3rd party within couple of days of your interview, this would indicate a pass of the interview, otherwise they wouldn't bother contacting the references and paying Garda for it

  9. Any feedback and points for Arrow road? I'm starting my training on April 3rd. Do you know the route for day 16 driving test?
  10. busy routes, narrow roads, tight turns, killer poles, hence why u learn quick as u don't really have any other choice lol don't sweat it, for now just worry about passing the training as that's the harder part (or so i heard, since im still yet to start the training) goodluck!

  12. i think modes are just straight preference, some may argue one is better than other but as someone above said, each of them has its pros and cons. For ex, some may argue that subway is better because no overnights, less fare disputes or customer interactions, no relief points like Jane&Finch, but on the downside you're bound to the exact same route every day of your life, you are underground, you might have to deal with jumpers and depending on how emotional you are it may or may not affect you. Some may like bus because of different route choices and prefer driving, but downsides are still there like bad relief points, or someone might not be comfortable driving a big vehicle and not comfortable with the turns. Streetcars might be the mode of choice for those people who are not comfortable with driving a big vehicle, since you are bound to the tracks, but it also has its cons of no AC in old streetcars, have to watch out and go outside to move switches (otherwise you go wrong way and it does not have a reverse), or if there is an accident on the tracks, all streetcars are stuck and you are stuck too regardless if your shift has finished you are there until the accident is gone and you can proceed to your destination. Personally, I am happy I got the bus as I love driving and having to do different routes, but I can see the pros and cons of every mode and why someone would hate one and love the other.
