And every time the bus powers down, the readers have to reboot. By the time they initialize, the first few stops are missed. If it crashes, every stop is missed. What a garbage system using outdated software.
Can't they at least upgrade to Windows Embedded 8.1 software instead?
On a side note, be on the lookout for PRESTO units on New Eglinton territory. #7564 was the first installed (but yet to be in operation) on 86D this evening.

Child left alone on the TTC bus -

Be calm in training, they'll give you things at a reasonable pace. Do the nightly homework, and read the next day's reading. Forget learning how to drive, they'll teach you, and Malvern's routes are mostly on wide streets with poles set back from the curb. Go to the MTO website, read the Ontario bus handbook and start in on how to do a circle check, and google how to check air brakes (Ignore trailer connectors, you don't test on them.) Get started on that, because that's the two things people fail out on.
With Malvern, you'll be on night buses for ages unless you transfer. Friend of mine transfered to Malvern after about a year in, and even he could only get nights; Finch rocket becoming Finch night. Once you hit the ten month, you might want to check out Eglinton for comparative seniority.
Have you looked in the application process thread? There are dozens, maybe hundreds of posts in there by people who have covered this exact same info.
Hybrids aren't.... terrible... but the 10-1100 first-gens will crap out on you and leave you on the side of the road from time to time. Rebuild made em quieter, but they're still falling apart. Artics aren't too bad either, but when they say "it only takes one extra foot to turn them"? Give yourself about 6 extra feet.
Same with the Orion Vs, Flyers and many Fishbowls in its heyday.
On a personal note, congratulations, New TTC Operator. Looking forward to see you on the road.

This thread is for discussion in regards to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro including our Canadian participation.
CANADA:
- Canada defeated Brazil in both rugby matches.
- In Women's soccer, Canada scored a 2-0 win over Australia and 3-1 over Zimbabwe.
OTHER:
- The United States defeated the People's Republic of China 119-62 in men's basketball. The Americans lead in the medal standings.
NOTES:
- In spite of the doping scandal, Russia sent 271 athletes since the track and field team is banned from the Olympics.
- South Sudan and Kosovo made their Olympic debuts. South Sudan gained independence in 2011 while Kosovo granted independence in 2008, which however, is recognized by 109 UN members including Canada.
- in a bizarre twist, Taiwan aka Republic of China competes as Chinese Taipei since 1984. The original China debuted in the 1932 Olympics. But due to the One-China policy, in which the PRC recognizes as the sole legitimate government of "China", ROC was forced to use the Chinese Taipei name.
So guys, post away and show some pride!

MUSIC: Britney Spears, Cher, Savage Garden, Shania Twain, Backstreet Boys, Venga Boys, N'Sync, Eminem, Dr. Dre, Nas, Shaggy, Justin Timberlake, No Doubt, Green Day, Stabilo, Michael Jackson, Ashanti, Christina Milan, Amerie, Sean Paul, etc...
TELEVISION: Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Franklin the Turtle, SpongeBob SquarePants, Jimmy Neutron, Hey Arnold!, Fillmore, Recess, Fairly OddParents, Atomic Betty, Kim Possible, Proud Family, Ripping Friends, Futurama, The Simpsons, UnderGrads, and several various channels
FOOD: 90s/2000s Chip and Soda packaging, McDonald's, Fish and Chips, Laura Secord, Free Breakfast at a school's church hall, etc...
EVENTS IN REAL LIFE: 9/11, Blackout of 2003, 2004 Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, Stop the Violence with the Argos in 2005, 2008 TTC Strilke, etc...

If my mind is right the renumbering of the AVENUE ROAD bus from 5 to 13 is a welcome change because the TTC needs it for Line 5.
So the final result would be 13A "Queen's Park" and 13B "Gerrard". No changes to the routing.

Excellent rendering! I can see the TTC logo on the front right side is stretched off a little. Nevertheless, the rest of your photoshopping skills is gloriously perfect.

Changes out of Wilson division for the September board:
- 5 Avenue Road will be renumbered to the 13 Avenue Road. (Trick question: Can anybody guess why?)
- The 33 Forest Hill route will transfer to Mount Dennis, while the 106 York University will transfer to Arrow Road.
Lastly, the 74 Mt. Pleasant will assume the main routing of the 103 Mt. Pleasant North to become the 'new' 74 Mt. Pleasant from St Clair Stn to Doncliffe.
If I read the 74 MOUNT PLEASANT article on Transit Toronto, then there's your educated guess dated February 1999.
QuoteRoutes 103 MOUNT PLEASANT NORTH and 74 MOUNT PLEASANT were to be combined on this date, into a single route running from Davisville Station via Yonge, Merton, and Mt. Pleasant to Doncliffe Loop. This was not implemented due to the concerns of local residents.
They should have at least moved the 33 FOREST HILL when Mount Dennis opened in the first place. But I'm surprised 106 is heading back to Arrow Road.

Didn't know its supposed to work. But sorry for my mistake.
