  1. Took the 12:22 route 10 from Main & Emerson today and noticed XD40 1211 on the 1A King. Upon arrival at Eastgate we made a total of 4 artics there. Ours on 10 plus others on the 55, 56 & 58. First time I had seen that many artics there at the same time.
  2. I was in the Falls today to shoot video of the Orion IVs and saw this WEGO LFS artic a couple of times. Plate is 743 3BF but I couldn't see any fleet number. The stored units at the bus garage all had fleet numbers. Anyone know which one it might be?
  3. A friend sent me the link to this flickr photo. Looks like #1219 was ready for service awhile ago. The 9600/9900 charter group rode 1219 to the airport on June 23rd. It was running with a "dealer plate". My shot with the lampost removed from the photo.
  4. If the 1100 & 1200's are going to sit around till September. How about a "before-entry-into-serviice" photo charter?
  5. I shot a bunch of video in the early 1990s of TTC & HSR trolleybuses. This is one of them: Currently working on European tram videos shot in June & October 2011 My Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/binbrook21c123?feature=mhee
  6. Does the eastbound 10 service from University Plaza stop at the front of MAC hospital or someplace on Main Street?
  7. Sorry, that is basically it. I didn't take a lot of video, too busy with work, etc. It was when they talked about shutting down the trolleybus that I shot these to send over to a bus group I joined in the town in England that I came from.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/user/binbrook21c123?feature=mhum I have been uploading some 1991 video that I shot in both Toronto and Hamilton, mostly trolleybuses but it includes new looks and classics. I know it is closer to 20 years ago rather than 6 but I thought some might be interested.
  9. Final episode of my HSR Trolleybus videos from April 29th & May 22nd, 1991. Shots on Melvin Ave, Barton at Strathearne and then downtown. Caughts some classics and new looks as well as GO 2-axle MCI coaches and a Fun-Trek MCI. Ends with a chase of 785 along Barton.
  10. I have a few photos from slides on the HSR trolleybus page on my website. A little while ago I received this from Andy Hislop who drove trolleybuses from 1980 to 1992 "The E700s reused traction motors and other electrical equipment from the CCF Brills. However, they were never fitted with batteries or generator sets. After the move to the new Wentworth Garage the few E700s still in service were pushed into, around and out of the garage by a push truck used for that purpose. There was little overhead installed in the new garage (only a short section in the shop area). The E800s (the 7800s) all had new traction equipment. Later, generator sets were installed to permit "off wire" running because the new garage had been planned without overhead. The transit commissioner had expected all the trolleys would be gone before the move-in occurred. He favoured CNG buses over trolleys. The last CCF Brills (held in storage for several years) were disposed of in the early 1980s by the HSR. It is worth noting the generator sets were very noisy in use and so were never operated with passengers on board. They also proved very unreliable and as they broke were soon not repaired. '' is today's video shot around the General Hospital on March 2nd, 1991
  11. I found some 8mm video tape that I made in 1991. Thought you guys might like to see the post rush-hour return to the Wentworth Garage on May 22nd, 1991. Some trolleybuses along with GM New Looks and Classics. A few articulated buses as well. Ends with a chase along Barton Street.
  12. It is an Ikarus 280T This one is from České Budějovice in the southern Czech Republic in April 2009. It is a 2007 Skoda 28Tr
  13. In April I rode trolleybuses in Bratislava, Linz and Budapest.
  14. Back in 1991 I was shooting video and recently had the 8mm video transferred to DVD. I extracted these 3 so far and put them up on YouTube. ----HSR trolleys on Barton Street ----TTC PCC on Queens Quay ---TTC & Edmonton trolleys at Jane station and on Annette
  15. Here are a couple of shots at Piazzale Roma in Venice on September 15th, 2009. The guy walking past the 2001 MAN NG313 seems completely oblivious to the rain.
  16. Yes, I saw them also. A couple had parking tickets on them as well as a couple of Greyhounds.
  17. Photographing at Bayview this morning and 382 came by with this string of ITFX gondolas with the first one being ITFX 92124. ITFX is not listed in the Trackside Guide and there are no photos posted to http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/default.aspx Anybody have access to a current Equipment Register?
  18. Whole bunch of them running in Lancaster, PA OK convinced me. Odd that the selling dealer got it wrong.
  19. The selling dealer (Rohrer Enterprises, Inc.) told me they were Champion Challengers. http://www.championbus.com/index.pl?id=2268 I saw A04, A30 and A73
  20. Yes, got this quick shot for the license plate.
  21. Just got back from a few days in Lancaster. Saw a number of these Ford E-450 vans running about but I can not identify the body builder. Most manufacturers seem to be using flush side windows. Any ideas?
  22. I was in Brantford this morning and saw LFS 10072 and Bluebird 10044. Are they renumbering all of their units?
  23. I wondered about that. There appears to be at least 1 passenger. The photo was run through my LightMachine plug-in.
  24. Saw this Setra this afternoon ( May 16th, 2010) on highway 403 between Hamilton & Burlington. No front plate.
  25. Can anyone identify this Fishbowl on Glovers Road on the Hamilton mountain. The sign on the gate says "United American Coach" but a web-search shows only 1 located in Jacksonville, FL. Forgot the photo. The correction created a topic.
