5623 was found on the 29W today.
  2. The XDE60

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

5274 is the highest 5200's bus I have seen.

Yeesh! When I saw 5616 on the 41W (out of service), you may think it'd be diesel - but it had an alternative fuel plate.

5618 was observed on the 41W this morning, and it has a new paint scheme. Still a Gillig.

While looking at this Saturday's commercial vehicle auction catalog, oddly there are NO Valley Metro or City of Phoenix buses on the catalog.

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

6822 was observed on 81N on my way to work. Oddly, it has the 4ONE Aries seating, pull cord stop requests and the new annunciator setup.

Has anybody seen bus 5612 or later? My mind blew when I thought I saw 5613 on the 41E...

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

8024 was the first arctic that I have seen to feature the new annunciator setup.

New license plate on 5007 - used to read GA-09502, now reads GA11701.

Surprisingly, 6501 is still in service, and has the new voice of the new annunciator, however, the sign's text was not working.

6598 has the new annunciator setup. This was observed while riding it on 81S. I wonder if the new installs are on older buses first...

With the RPTA having local route XN40's in service, I noticed that the rear destination signs on the top panel, top right, despite the four circular vents going down the left side. If Phoenix gets local route XN40's (which could be possible since I read an article that jointly, the two could get up to 396 XN40's), with the four circular vents vertically on the left side, would it be ideal to have the rear destination sign moved to the panel, bottom center?

6819 was found on 72N near Chaparral Rd, on my way home from work at Safeway.

    6529 has a new (its 3rd) plate number - G 934JD.

8116 has the previous annunciator setup, however, when I was on 6507 last Friday, that bus got the new setup.
  16. I had a dream last night that I was on a 2019 XN40 bus 5313 on 41E, and oddly, the destination signs were Luminator Spectrum Titan, and were the first batch to use RGB destination signs.

    License plate was GA11701.

While I was on 6505 on the 41E, I noticed that the interior sign now blinks date/time and the next stop back and forth saying each stop (kind of similar to those of King County). I wonder what that change might be due to. However, 6748 on the 81N still has its "Approaching This Street, transfer to Route X" style setup.

Quick question, I assume no buses were sold last Saturday, is that the case?

Service changes began today with modifications for new Scottsdale Trolley routes. Scottsdale Downtown was renamed to Scottsdale Old Town.
  20. The XDE60

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

6522 is on its 3rd license plate number. It used to read G-372GT. Now, the plate reads G 924JD.

They are, I have seen them on routes now.

They should be similar to those since the 2016 CNG models, the only difference, however, is that these 5600's numbers have an air conditioning unit instead of CNG tanks.

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

8121? was found (out-of-service) on 44th Street, and, shockingly, marked Transdev.
  24. The XDE60

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

5080 formerly read GA-10862 on the license plate. It now reads GA-11369.

    Valley Metro (Phoenix)

The new Scottsdale Gillig buses began at 4514, the highest I have seen is 4517.
