Found BBC Unit #135 working sleek as a bell today. Last i heard it was in Patterson. but is back out. Here is a pic of it coming up by the library. Man was it flying!

PClinux is actually very user friendly. i just instaled the newest version on my laptop and was up and running in no time. including my wireless card! My dad in law.. well soon to be hehe... even installed it on his computer without a problem and he has never used linux before. its very full and easy to use.

that doesnt tell me what linux you use.. lol. i like the ones i use. i was just curious what others use. hehe

I use Redhat Fedora Core 4 on my server and on my Laptop i am using PCLinux 0.93a.(my desktop is still Windows XP because of the fiance!)

Awsome guys working on this. ones that really enjoy their work. one guy said to me if they got rid of the trolleys, he probably wouldnt enjoy his work as much anymore. Anyways they got at all new equipment and lines up there. looks very nice. Here is a pic of Epcors new $300,000 line truck with the other line truck in the back. And another one of it hard at work. You can see the reflections of the nice bright new line.

I was on 1017 today and it had the grey numbers too they were supposed to. i think theres only 2-3 that are not done.

We were walking through city center west when you told her that you were going underground and your phone would cut out so you had to let her go. lol then we got to the lrt and my train was just coming in.. i jumped on it and 20 seconds later yours arrived.

hehe from what you told me here.. id hate to see your phone bill. lol

I have a nokia 2275 on the Bell Mobility Network - Works awsome. one of the only networks that works quite clearly in our lrt underground tunnels (due to they are the sole antenna's running through. Battery lasts for days. i love the phone.

I dropped my cell phone and it bounced on to the track this past winter. it was about 1115 at night and i didnt wnat to wait another 15 minutes. so i ran to the help phone. gave them a total description of where it was (southbound track at northend of platform) and they said as long as i hurry because a train was coming. sure enough i had about 15 seconds to pick it up and get back up on the platform. i was surprised that they let me but were very polite. maybe because i took the time to ask first? i dont know... but i personally wouldnt allow anyone on the track with that little headway in time hehe. Guess i got lucky!

Unit 233 is out on training today (sitting just up from my office!!) and i noticed it is missing drivers side ad in the ad rack. Unit 130 is outside of city hall right now. also working training. sitting with poles down rope hanging a bit out of the retrievers (which look like they are new) and transfers for yesterday sitting in the transfer holder. I also noticed that 130 is missing its passenger side ad in the ad rack but has one in the driver side. This also means power is back on to this section!! I will post pics tonight when i get home or after that!

In Edmonton, i see this very regularly. a lot of times at our LRT stations i see people that jump on to the tracks and use the tracks to exit the station instead of using the pedestrian walkways or overpases. Other thing i see a lot is someone that see's their bus so they will run across the street to catch it and run on the road right in front of the bus thinking that will be easiest way to get the bus to stop to pick them up. ive seen many drivers in this case wait till the person gets on the sidewalk and just leave him standing there instead of opening the doors. serves the idiots right!

ya know what.. at 10 years old. i didnt know much because those were the days of the early vic 20's and amiga's lol however the point is, no need to go crazy. just tell the kid to take down your stuff. if he doesnt, report it to the space owner as copyright infringment and they will take it down. im sure this kid is willing to respect peoples wishes.

Guys. i just realized this kid is only 10 years old. Lets be nice about this and ask him politely to take stuff down. i didnt realize his age till now and i think we may have been a little harsh on the kid who wouldnt know any better.

It's not cool taking other peoples stuff without permission. and now it will be even harder to get permission once they see that its already there.
