    I think CEO should be fired or force to reassign and the Provincal Government could put a CEO who can introduce 21 st century technology into the system and who knows a lot more about transit.

    1. Making the number scheme a little more logical. 

    2. Better scucity measure.

    3. GPS enable buses to tracker the delay.

    4. Automated stop announcements. 

    5. Electric buses.

    6. Compass card system.

    7. Increase transit in all systems.

    8. Better management sytle. 

    9. Increase ridership in all transit system.

    10. Work better with Mayors in communities and TransLink to develop better transit plan for BC. 

  2. Spirit Class once converted to LNG will resume servicing route 1 year round:


    This Project to perform MLUs on the Spirit of Vancouver Island and Spirit of British Columbia presents an opportunity to reduce the operating costs of the S Class vessels to below that of the Coastal Class vessels, primarily through the adoption of LNG as fuel. This will allow the S Class vessels to resume their traditional role as the primary year-round vessels on Route 1. By extension, more flexible and cost-effective S Class vessels allow greater availability of the Coastal Class vessels for service augmentation and continuity elsewhere. 


    Finally, Coastal Renaissance could service route 2 year round.

    This whole LRT project to going be heavily regretted years by the City of Surrey when all Metro Vancouver is seen winning fullly with SkyTrain and see reductions of bus hours to subsidy the private operate for LRT.

    I think the City of Surrey is going to majorly screwed over by this LRT line and hopefully the mayors, Provincal Government change the Fraser Highway line to an Expo Line extension to Langley Centre.

    Maybe it to separate the 30 ft buses from 35 ft buses. I personally think Victoria Regional Transit Commission make single layer buses a 40 ft buses.

    The 4060 & 4061 would be exclusive to route 3? I am asking because I am planning on going Victoria in week for a day.

    It shouldn't be a P3, and will be operated by Trasnlink. 80% of the funding is on the table from the feds and the province already, and Translink's 10 year plan includes the local funding for both the Surrey LRT and Broadway extension, without either being a P3. Because the vast majority of funds are already lined up and with all parties in the Legislature trying to play nice with Translink now, I see no reason why they wouldn't be able to get the funding for the local portion since it is already outlined.

    The Canada line was similar to this funding. I think don't think they would P3 model the Broadway Subway because it's connected to the Millennium Line which was not operated in P3 model.

From the sounds of it, many intersections in Surrey have it already, and they will be doing I don't remember for certain, but I believe there were job listings related to the LRT project under BCRTC a month or two ago. Translink corporate is most of the LRT project related things, but I think there were 4 or 5 under BCRTC (sadly I didn't take note of exactly what they were, so just going off memory). If that is correct, I would assume it would be BCRTC then, but who knows. 

    I assume it would be P3 model project where the CMBC nor BCRTC will operate this stupid, waste of money  LRT project.
