The destination sign does say 50 "via Granville Island" but I think 50 "Waterfront Station via Granville Island" is very vague because Waterfront Station terminus is nowhere close to Waterfront Station. I personally think the destination sign should say 50 "Stadium – Chinatown Station via Granville Island" because the terminus is closer to Stadium – Chinatown Station.

I agree with that, I would put the 501 "via Walnut Grove" and 502 "via Fraser Highway to show they have complete different path to Surrey Central Station and also with 501 "via Walnut Grove" would show people which bus to take to get Walnut Grove.

An Electric bus pilot project could be coming to TransLink starting in 2018 if Metro Vancouver board approves a $121 million transit package. The pilot project includes four electric bus and two charging stations:
