With them discontinuing 20+ routes and contracting out other routes plus chopping up other routes it won’t be a need for them for all of these service cuts not improvements happening I have a feeling these passengers are not going to like it….they better call 311 and they local commissioners office and voice they concerns

So what aspects of the project do you hate?
The whole thing some routes that they are getting rid of carry people and it’s not a investment it’s just service cuts disguised as improvements now what they should’ve done is expanding the current system but more buses for route expansions by going into new areas of the county instead of reshuffling the current buses in the fleet and making the fleet size smaller

As of this week, only 19 Gen.1 Nabis are left in revenue service. 4 05100s and 15 06100s. Hope DTPW and corrupt Miami politicans don't politize their new unbetter bus project routes and don't put all of the Nabis Gen.1 and 2 buses to retirement by then.
All of the 75 Proterras are on the road now.
Not all of them are in Service

And the electric Proterra has been unveiled from this past week in Downtown Miami. Did Proterra recalled any of the drive train issues with the electric bus problems in Miami yet.
As an operator who was assigned one I barely had problems the only issues was the Rear Door Control acting up only when it was set to passenger mode other then that the bus is smooth and auto adjust as you drive

Could they be planning for after covid? I think it’s hard to believe the 11s got 500k miles, maybe the BRTs because they did express service but thats it.
Finding parts to repair them is another reason they could be retiring them early

What are the 2200s replacing? The 2011s are to young to be retired with the 12 year rule until next year. Could it be just for fleet expansion?
12yrs or 500,000 miles is the retirement mark and I think they ain’t expanding service which I think was put on hold due to the pandemic which started right after they got the penny they requested and won from voters
