Both 302s are back in Hawaii Film Studio. Parked further toward 18th Avenue for a great view of the damage.

There are actually two fake BUS 302s. Saw them on Hawaii Film Studio on 18th Avenue today. One of the units have window frame removed and bullet holes on the body. Other unit has no damage. The unit on the episode that aired, I think it's a different bus, not 302. Noticed exterior logo has "TheBus City and County of Honolulu", and there was a bus in Hawaii Film Studio a few months ago with the logo, but it's no longer there.

Saw BUS 302 parked inside Hawaii Film Studio on 18th Avenue. Assume it's retired and use for filming. Looks like beginning of an end to 300 series Phantoms. Are all the 700 series pulled from service? Haven't seen them in a while, even on rush hours. I am sure TheBus sell some retired buses, but I don't think there are many buyers out there to absorb every unit.

This is the shell covering on the exterior camera on 506. Camera is still visible from the rear. This shell is only on the door side, not on driver's side. Saw a couple of 900 series have the same cover.

I was on Hawaii Island as well. Saw 665 and 699 in Hilo on the Volcano route. Hele On Bus just removed TheBus logo and kept everything else on exterior intact. Guess Hele On Bus usually don't hold on to them for a long time so does not make sense to repaint the buses. Did not see RTSs as well, just MCIs and Phantoms (possibly not from TheBus). I last saw RTS in Hilo was over a year ago.

12 new buses coming in. Looks like they are New Flyer 60 foot electric hybrid. Sounds like they will be Kalihi based and will be on route 2. http://www.kitv.com/news/city-unveils-first-hybrid-electric-bus-to-its-fleet/31705940 http://khon2.com/2015/03/09/city-bus-service-expands-with-electric-hybrids-and-retrofitted-ambulance-bus/

I remembered the 800 Series Scania as well. The one with electronic sign was #800. They are also exclusively used on Waikiki routes such as 2, 19, and 20. Saw them once on route 1 and 3 and I was shocked. Remembered them having large but high windows, quiet but cool A/Cs, and lots of standing room. I can't find #800 online but here are three from the same series with roll signs. http://norcalbusfans.jalbum.net/NorCal%20Bus%20Fans%20Photo%20Archives/Hawaii/The%20Bus%20-%20Honolulu/slides/TheBus821.html http://norcalbusfans.jalbum.net/NorCal%20Bus%20Fans%20Photo%20Archives/Hawaii/The%20Bus%20-%20Honolulu/slides/TheBus807.html http://norcalbusfans.jalbum.net/NorCal%20Bus%20Fans%20Photo%20Archives/Hawaii/The%20Bus%20-%20Honolulu/slides/TheBus841.html

Saw 605 today, license plate is BUS 582. I am suspecting TheBus is doing that because the previous BUS 605 is still on their vehicle registration record. Really hope they will fix that up before it gets worse like the HandiVan is now. I also think they will keep the 30' Phantoms for a while, since they just installed cameras on them. Does anyone know the fate of 70 to 99? Some said they will be retired, yet some of them have cameras installed. Highest number of the 200s that I've seen is 297 as well. I also haven't seen 740 - 773 in a while. 774 and up are still running, sometimes on the weekends as well. I sometimes don't get Pearl City dispatcher. They assign high floor buses (700s, 800s) when they have a lot of low floor Novas, 200s Gilligs, and some 600s Gilligs around.
