  1. 8050 on the 291 Herongate at Walkley around 4:15. Died while trying to depart and went out of service.
  2. Is that possibly going change with the announcement that they're going to take 40 buses out of retirement?
  3. They've been collected on O-Train fans and I updated the page with the correct years recently. They should be all right.
  4. Over the past week I've noticed a number of different hybrids with non-functioning destination signs with their route numbers taped to the windshield. Related to retirement or just a bunch of random bugs? No other model seems to be having as many issues with their signs from what I've seen.
  5. I suspect it has something to do with all the overtime we've been hearing about, just a guess though.
  6. They've been trying to simulate normal operations for a few months now. Trains will start running at 5am on weekdays once it opens.
  7. The remnants of a stop on the old 88 at Alta Vista and Edge Hill. The pole is still there. https://www.google.com/maps/@45.3734367,-75.6629069,3a,51.9y,274.76h,83.15t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sOC_trOd7ZDGfDocma_bUTA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656
  8. It refers to the diameter of the lights in inches. They're either 8 inches (the smaller looking ones) or 12 inches (the larger ones). For instance, the ones in your post are all 12-inch diameter lights and would be 12-12-12-12-12 and 12-12-12.
  9. I've been working on Queen Street for 4 weeks now and I hadn't noticed. Guess I wasn't looking hard enough!
  10. The names of all 34 trains have been recorded and are now on the wiki! (Still waiting for the Trillium Line). https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Ottawa-Carleton_Regional_Transit_Commission_1101-1134
  11. 5152 on the 17 Wateridge At Queen/Metcalfe. First time I've ever seen a 17. I didn't realize it was active already.
  12. 4618 on the 44 Gatineau from Heron / Alta Vista this morning 4628 on the 10 Carleton this evening I finally rode one but I didn't get any good pictures so I'll have to wait for another time to get my new profile picture...
  13. I also saw them with the correct signs about half an hour later. IIRC the signs switch between "R2 South / Sud" and "R2 Greenboro" (although it ends at South Keys, no?), and likewise for North and Bayview.
  14. On 4416 right now running the R2. Do the buses not have R2 programmed into them? This bus was signed as "Charter" and the other one I saw had nothing.
  15. It also looks like a "0" with the top left corner covered up.
  16. 6698 on the 112 Herongate leaving Billings at 11:18
  17. 6689 on the 112 Billings Bridge at around 10:00 last night.
  18. 8012 on the 291 Herongate at Walkley/Albion. Been a while since I've seen a double decker on the 291.
  19. 1103 at Hurdman just now (16:55) Might as well try to help record which trains have been spotted.
  20. https://cptdb.ca/wiki/index.php/Ottawa-Carleton_Regional_Transit_Commission_Confederation_Station should be renamed to "Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission Mooney's Bay Station".
  21. Right, I think they start (or are supposed to start) at Lebreton but I've seen some skip Lebreton and Slater / Bay before.
  22. If you mean timetable-wise, I don't know. They may have changed them a bit over the years. Route-wise, the 44 Herongate doesn't continue down Alta Vista past Heron and on to South Keys. Also in the mornings there are trips on the 44 that start at Heron / Alta Vista which replaced the 88 Hull.
