  1. This is not new.... I posted the info on this topic last november... Posted November 24, 2018 From a credible source... Galland purchased 5 Nova LFS 22-xxx from STM few weeks ago: 22-225; 22-227; 22-248; 22-253; 22-298.
  2. From a credible source... Galland purchased 5 Nova LFS 22-xxx from STM few weeks ago: 22-225; 22-227; 22-248; 22-253; 22-298. I do not understand this move as I was told they lost the contract for the parking shuttle in Mont-Tremblant recently, so they retired their 3 remaining Classic buses. Can I make a suggestion here? This topic was meant for RETIRED 22-xx buses. It ended up as a "bus in service" thread instead over the time... It would be a smart move to start another page for 22-xxx buses in service or rename this thread... 😉

They have lost the contract for the Mont-Tremblant parking shuttle, so they retired their Classic buses and don't need newer vehicles. I don't know what company got the contract though.

Glad to know they changed their mind and the Classics will be there a little longer than expected !!! 😃

All 3 remaining Classics (727, 729 and 733) were definitly removed from service in august and mid october. If I'm correct and the STO has also retired the remaining 10 ex Calgary Transit units, then that's it for the Classic era in Quebec !!! 🙁

Some corrections needed here: 04-66: LFS 2004 Ex Coach USA/Canada 4973 - Acquired 2015-08 - Retired 2017-01 (Kept for parts only, engine removed) - Still in Durham Regional Transit colors 04-67: LFS 2004 Ex Coach USA/Canada 4970 - Acquired 2015-08 - Sold to La Québécoise 2017-10 04-69: LFS 2004 Ex Coach USA/Canada 4976 - Acquired 2015-08 - Sold to Shawinigan TUM-17 2016-11 04-86: LFS 2004 (bought new) - Sold to La Québécoise 2017-10 04-104: LFS 2004 (bought new) - Sold to La Québécoise 2017-10 The two 2005 LFS are still active. 😉

The ex La Québécoise bus was purchased (not leased) and will be kept as a spare bus. Only the two leased bus (Ex Houston demo) will or have been be returned to Nova, since the brand new 2015 LFS are now in service.

This Vicinity demo is back with Transdev. Don't know the division in which it'll go at this time.

The 30 feet model is available with one or two doors. Transit agencies have the choice between both models. There is at least one demo 30' bus with this configuration actually.

I don't know if this will answer your question but... on the Grande West Transportation VIN plates, it is easy to tell if the model is a 27.5 or 30 feet chassis: 2G9B27AA = 27.5 feet 2G9B30AA = 30 feet The only thing that we then need to know, is if the bus has been equipped with one or two doors.

Note that 6014-21-5 is the only 30 feet model ordered by Transdev to this time in it's fleet... :-)

    MCI Classic tracking thread

Sorry, I don't have photos of STO's Classics from Calgary at this time... And yes, the real year of a vehicle (including buses) is determined by the 10th digit of the VIN, not the date it was built. M=1991 and N=1992... This is why two buses were incorrectly identified as 1991's.
