These units have a single door and express style layout. (5 wheelchair seats in the low floor 17 seats in the upper deck.) fleet numbers 2101-2105.

There has been some part shortages that have caused some delays in production, but Proterra has been working hard to get these orders fulfilled. I have a contact heading to Proterra in early 2022 for production review of their buses. Will keep everyone posted.

Our fleet has 5 used buses purchased in 2017. 2-2002 35ft Gillig LF's from Park City Utah. 3-2002 29ft Gillig LF's from Middleton Ohio. 4 2020 Gillig 29 LF's 2-2021 29ft gilligs on order to be delivered at the end of the year and 3 29ft gilligs ordered last week to be delivered in late 2022.

Go West recently took delivery of 5 New Flyer XD35 buses. Fleet numbers 10-14. Photo courtesy KHQA-TV

Got a reply from the manager of CR Transit. Those 4 RTS buses were replaced by 4 35ft gillig buses. The remaining 4 will be replaced soon by gilligs.

Due to a drop in ridership, Bettendorf cut services, and the transit budget, so they operate plain white cutaways.

Due to the I-74 Bridge construction, Davenport is hanging on to the 5 29ft gillig buses. They purchased 2 35ft gillig from Duluth and are rehabbing the 6 2004 gilligs original to them. Through a joint venture with rock island metro they will be purchasing used buses to be rehabbed and used as the 1-74 express. More to come as details are released.

Add Eldorados 0556-0557 to Rock Island MetroLINK they purchased both units.

Update: Metro is set to receive 12 XN40's and 2 40ft Proterra electric buses in September. The New Flyers well replace 12eldorado Ez riders the 2 Proterra buses will replace the 2 ex Rockford Illinois Gilligs phantoms.

Reading the Board meeting minutes from feburary, MetroLINK is purchasing 10 XN40's, these will replace the 8-2003 D40LF's and 2-1999 Ex Rockford IL Gillig Phantoms.
