    Stratolaunch

This is quite the interesting aircraft! https://www.cnet.com/pictures/meet-the-stratolaunch-the-worlds-largest-airplane/ It is meant to launch rockets into space.
  2. I can't help you fill it in, but I can certainly help make the table for you, for the remaining vehicles!
  3. Thanks. Deleted. Also confirmed no other pages linked to the old redirect page.
  4. Here is an audio recording of the station announcement "Churchill Station. Please Transfer Here For A Metro Line Train" This is played at Churchill Station now, rather than just the station name like all other stations, at least on SD160s. The signs inside the car also display text to indicate this transfer point. Churchill Station Please Transfer Here For A Metro Line Train.m4a

    BYD "E-Bus"

This demo was built in September 2018.
  8. Calgary Transit 8395 is seen on display at BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta for the CUTA 2019 Transit Show.
  9. In regards to duplicate accounts, it has already been addressed that only one account is allowed per person. However, it should be known that before any new member account is approved here on the CPTDB, IP addresses are checked against existing posts/users and the user account will not be approved if it is a duplicate. There are exceptions (eg. certain organizations all appear to come from the same IP address even though there are different users/computers within) but even this method is not foolproof, and can result in spam accounts still getting through.
  10. Crash testing is expensive too: https://www.autoblog.com/2007/10/19/how-crash-tests-work/ Not to mention training costs for a different model of bus - all operators would have to undergo training for changes made. I would love to see the Volvo transit buses make their way to North America. I think Prevost experimenting with the Volvo 9700 hasn't really gone very well in terms of market uptake. I don't know what factors are contributing to that though, eg. perhaps higher cost to import and modify to North American highway requirements.
  11. Is that a BlackBerry? The theme does use characters, eg. from Font Awesome, so your browser/device might need to support that font or the ability to download it through the linked file. I did perform an update on the software today, though, so I am not sure if that will help.
  12. It would be nice; from 1993 to 2006 the D40LF pretty much looked the same. Then, the D40LFR was pretty much the same body with a restyled front end. Given that NFI is now a bus manufacturer powerhouse, I wouldn't be surprised if there is a new model at some point soon. Putting the minds together of New Flyer, Motor Coach Industries, and Alexander Dennis could result in a pretty cool product. The MCI D45 CRT LE was conceived after the merger of NFI and MCI. So we'll see what's next!
  13. From what I understand, the vehicle could be put out of service if they were stopped and it failed a "surprise" inspection. In theory, yes, that is a possibility.
  14. Eaux Claire and Northgate are on the same road, so those are connected by a couple of routes, at least currently. I didn't pay attention to them in the new redesign. I would say a lot of people from Castle Downs would want to connect to one of those two transit centres, but to transfer to other buses going elsewhere. NAIT LRT station doesn't have any space for bus dropoffs currently. Also, that part of the train system is not running optimally 4 years after opening. It is better and faster for riders to go downtown to their destination. The traffic around NAIT is already a gong show, and buses would have to cross (and get held up at) that intersection to get to NAIT station too. They could just go down 106 Street to Kingsway/Royal Alex Transit Centre and that would be a better option currently. In regards to the new proposed routes, I am happy with what they have because there is new bus service coming into my newer neighborhood, meaning less of a distance to walk for me.
  15. My sister found ex-ETS 41 now operating as Norquay's free ski bus: https://banffnorquay.com/plan-your-visit/getting-here/shuttle-service/
  16. The Kathleen Andrews Garage sign is now up at the entrance on Fort Road. Big ETS logo at the top of it (blue background, white ETS text). Thankfully all roadwork is complete there too, so there are no lanes impeded.
  17. https://jalopnik.com/greyhounds-dumbest-bus-line-goes-from-new-york-city-to-1839759468 This was an interesting documentary of a Greyhound trip from Port Authority Bus Terminal to Brooklyn. It appears the Brooklyn stop no longer has a storefront.
