Valley Transit Company (VTC or simply Valley Transit) is a motorcoach company based in Harlingen, Texas serving South Central Texas and Northern Mexico. Valley Transit is a subsidiary of Greyhound USA since August 1997.
History
The company was founded as Valley Airfield Bus Company by Vance D. Raimond on September 1, 1941. Their first route operated between downtown Harlingen, Texas and the Air Force Base. A second route between Moore Field in Edenbburgh and McAllen, Texas soon after. They later expanded into the Rio Grande valley and adopted their present name.
