Route Details
Route 199 Finch Rocket provides express service between Finch Station and Scarborough Town Centre. This route also serves along Finch East, serving express stops only, along with a portion of McCowan Road between STC and Finch which serves a stop at Sheppard Avenue only.
Route 199 operates alongside the previously existing route 39 Finch East, complementing the mostly local route. It has however, largely replaced express service on the route 39.[1]
This route operates all day on weekdays, daytime only on Saturdays, and with no service on Sundays and holidays.
History
- October 12, 2010 - Route begins operation.
Overnight Service
Overnight service is not provided, however, the route operates until 10:00 PM on weekdays. Overnight service is provided by 302 Danforth Rd-McCowan on McCowan Road between Finch Avenue & Triton Road and route 308 Finch East provides overnight service on Finch Avenue between Yonge Street and McCowan Road.
