Shuttle Bus is a term used for any bus which has the main purpose of moving between two points. This is used in many settings including airports, where passengers may want to move between the terminal and the gate, special events where passengers may be moved from a nearby accessible location like a subway station to the event, or during Rapid Transit shutdowns where buses are used to shuttle passengers between stations on either side of the delay. Nova Bus offers an LFS specifically designed for shuttle service, although both D40LF and Orion VII can be modified for this purpose as well.
