Austrian Setra S 417 HDH

The Setra S 417 HDH is a 14 metre long luxury touring coach from Setra's TopClass 400 line. It made its initial debut in Europe in 2001, but was not available in North America until 2003. In North America it is known as the S 417 TC and has a two piece windscreen instead of one like the European S 417 HDH.

In 2007, the TopSky Glass roof and rear window, available as options in Europe since introduction, were made options in North America. In 2010, North American S 417 TC was made available with the EPA 2010 compliant Mercedes-Benz OM 471 engine. It was officially unveiled at the 2010 UMA Expo in Las Vegas along with Front Collision Guard, new cornering lights, and rain and light sensors.
