Metro Transit route 80 'Halifax' is a heavily used route providing service from Lower Sackville, through Bedford into downtown Halifax via the Bedford Highway, Bayers Road, Robie Street and Spring Garden Road. Despite quicker alternatives for traveling from Halifax to Lower Sackville which do not take the Bedford Highway (such as the routes 84, 85 and 185), the route 80 remains very busy and crowded during peak times.
