The Irisbus Civis is an articulated transit bus for BRT applications. It uses an optical guidance system which uses a camera that tracks a painted track on the road. This allows automated docking at bus stops. The driver can be at the traditional left-hand location or a central location. Citizens Area Transit (now RTC Transit) of Las Vegas, Nevada was the first and only operator of the Civis in North America.[1]
