Central Trains was a British Train Operating Company that operated short-haul express and local services across the West Midlands to Birmingham, Liverpool Lime Street and Cardiff from Norwich, Ipswich, Cambridge and Stansted Airport. This company was divided between London Midland (West Coast Main Line routes), East Midlands Trains (Norwich, Cambridge and Ipswich to Birmingham), and Arriva Cross Country (Stansted Airport-Birmingham) in November 2007 as part of the re-franchising program.
