Caio Induscar
Caio Induscar' is a bus body builder based in São Paulo, Brazil with a plant in Botucatu, Brazil. Caio sells coachesin Brazil as well as other countries such as South Africa, Angola, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Lebanon, Nigeria, Turkey, Dominican Republic, Tahiti, and Trinidad & Tobago.[1] As recent as 2007, Caio entered the North American market with coaches bodied on Freightliner chassis. These operations are under Caio North America.

History
Caio was formed in 1946[1], producing bus bodies on other manufacturer's chassis. In 1982, rhe Botucatu plant was officially opened.[1] Transportation company Group Induscar took over the plant and the right to use and sell the Caio products in January 2001. Induscar eventually purchased Caio in March 2009.[1]
